Influence is one of the most powerful indicators of true leadership. But often we find ourselves in a situation where we are trying to prove ourselves - show that we have the expertise or skill set - and so we ask an obvious question or start talking to make a point. What we forget is that our influence doesn’t come from our ability to prove ourselves. The most influential leaders have mastered the art of asking powerful questions.
To be, or not to be, that is the question.
-- Hamlet, William Shakespeare
At this workshop we gather a group of aspiring leaders who are looking to develop their influence and presence through effective communication. Together we:
- Discover the benefits of asking the right questions
- Identify the characteristics of a "good" question with the power to influence
- Explore how to integrate powerful questions into our work as leaders
Each participant leaves the workshop with a better able contribute powerfully to their work, influence those around them, and build their credibility as leaders.
